I. Stanislav Libenský Award 2012 won Natsuho Enomoto, Japan, for Portrait of Capacity 68 000 cm³ . The jury appreciated the sculptural qualities of a dimensional object that excels by tension between the massive form of shape and delicate details. It shows an imaginary portrait of a loved one in organic manner: you dust and to dust you shall return.
II. Stanislav Libenský Award 2012 won Zuzana Kubelková, Czech Republic, for Deformation process. According to the jury, the author works, as the title of her work indicates, with the deformation of material in hot shape in innovative manner. This process is perfectly conserved in the presented object, which shows the limit state of action and reaction.
III. Stanislav Libenský Award 2012 won Andrej Jančovič, Slovak Republic, for a collection of objects from the Geometria cycle – for a multilayered collection of objects, which variously works with primary colors, geometric shapes and their configurations. The jury also appreciated the excellent craftsmanship.
Special prize by Rückl Company was awarded to Taťána Bartošová from the University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem for Set of table glass.
Prize of LASVIT Company for design was awarded to Peter Ďuriš from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava for the work entitled Colorstruction for the use of traditional technique of glass blowing in a new context and for the use of common shapes to create a glass collage.
