MgA. Ivana Šrámková (CZ) graduated from the High School of Applied Arts for Glassmaking in Železný Brod, Czech Republic, and then she studied Glass in the studio of prof. Stanislav Libenský at UMPRUM. She graduated in 1987/1988. She has lived in Prague since then. Her work is sculptural and painterly. The main used material is glass – fused sculpture, bronze and concrete. Her sculptures and paintings are figurative, they depict humans and animals. She is represented in many collections around the world where she also exhibited at a number of solo and group exhibitions.

Mgr. Ivo Křen (CZ) graduated from the Faculty of Education in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic. Since 1989 he has worked as a curator of collections of decorative arts of the East Bohemian Museum in Pardubice. He is the author of a permanent collection focused on the development of modern Czech glass at the Pardubice Castle. Moreover, he is also a theorist in the field of contemporary glass art. He also established an art group called Rubicon – a group of glassmakers. Since 1994, he has participated in the organization of more than sixty solo and group exhibitions of Czech studio glass in the Czech Republic and abroad. As a graphic artist he is a member of the Association of Czech Graphic Artists HOLLAR.

Prof. Florian Hufnagl, Ph.D. (DE) is the Museum director emeritus of Die Neue Sammlung in Munich and a Commendatore dell’Ordine della Stella della Solidarietà Italiana. He studied art history, archaeology and history at the University of Munich and took his Ph.D. in 1976. Subsequently he was a trainee at the Bavarian National Office for the Preservation of Monuments; from 1978 to 1980 a scientific collaborator just there. Furthermore, he had been a lecturer for art history of the 19th and 20th century at the University of Munich and a curator at Die Neue Sammlung since 1980. He had been the director of Die Neue Sammlung – The International Design Museum in Munich since 1990 until 2014. He was also the head of the Board of Directors of the Bavarian State Museums from 1998 until 2013 and a member of the Academy of Design of the Czech Republic. Moreover, he has written numerous book publications, exhibition catalogues and articles on topics in the fields of architecture, painting, applied arts and design, especially of the 20th and 21st century.

Lene Charlotte Tangen (NO) is a Norwegian glass artist and designer. She studied at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation in Copenhagen. Since 2012 she has been running her glass workshop in Bornholm, Denmark, and now in Oslo, Norway. She also does assignments for The National Museum in Oslo as an art consultant. Her work can be found in collections and adornments and she has been exhibiting in Scandinavia and Europe, among others at the Stanislav Libenský Award in 2011, the Coburg Prize for Contemporary Glass 2014 and recently at the Saatchi Gallery in London during COLLECT 2015.

Jean-Luc Olivié (FR) is involved in the development of the “departement verre” at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris since the 80’s where he works as a chief Curator of the glass collection. He curated several exhibitions in and out door for the museum and other partners. Most of his publications concentrated on the 19th and 20th century French glass and on the international scene of contemporary glass. His main realisations are: Verriers français contemporains (1982),  D. Chihuly (1986), E. Eisch (1988), Verre de Boheme (1989), René Lalique (1991), R. Meitner (1991), B. Dejonghe (1995), E. Dietman (1997), Matière à poésie (1997–1998). He has recently published Verres XXe-XXIe siècles: Collection du musée des Arts décoratifs and curated the exhibition Trésors de Sable et de Feu. Verre et Cristal aux Arts Décoratifs, XIVe-XXIe siecles (until November 2015).

The professional supervisor is Mgr. Milan Hlaveš, Ph.D. (CZ), an art historian and curator. He is the head of collections of glass, ceramics and porcelain in the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague. He worked at the National Technical Museum and at the Museum of Glass and Jewellery in Jablonec nad Nisou. He is the author and co-author of more than forty exhibitions, numerous articles in professional journals and a member of many competition committees.
